In collaboration with Smilecraft Dental Clinic, the Rajni Care Foundation organized a free dental check-up and consultation camp on September 24, 2023, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Sant Kripal Ashram, Haridwar, as part of their mission to provide dental care to the underserved.
The camp commenced with a dental awareness talk by Dr. Nancy Manchanda, where attendees were educated about dental diseases, tooth decay, gum issues, and preventive measures. People were also informed about dietary patterns and food choices for healthy teeth.
Approximately 400 individuals with disabilities, including children and adults, underwent intraoral screening during the camp. They received diagnoses and information about dental issues, along with relevant treatment options.
Oral hygiene kits, medicinal toothpaste, and dental health coupons were distributed to participants. Children were not only encouraged to brush their teeth twice a day but also incentivized for positive reinforcement.
The camp not only provided dental care but also educated people on proper brushing techniques and oral hygiene practices.
